Gouda Mild Cheese

This mild type of Gouda cheese is aged for 8-10 weeks, and has a deliciously mild taste. Easy to cut or slice, it is he perfect topping for any sandwich.

Serving suggestion: try this low-carb, gluten-free snack. You’ll need 2 cups shredded Gouda cheese (200g) and 1 cup shredded carrots (100 g). After shredding, place the carrots in a paper towel to drain moisture. Mix Gouda and carrots in a bowl, and then scoop tablespoon-sized servings of the mixture onto an oven plate covered with a waxed baking sheet. Flatten each portion with a fork. Put plate in oven, and bake at 190 C for about 8 to 12 minutes, until cheese starts to brown, and is sizzling. Remove plate from oven, and let crisps rest for 10 minutes, before moving them to a plate.
